Concentrating on large brownfield urban sites to produce regeneration through mixed-use schemes often centred around a major community benefit. The sites often involve listed buildings and the development process has involved close liaison with local authorities and Government Agencies to deliver the redevelopment.
The directors, John Oxley and Mark Pendower, have between them over 70 years experience in property investment and development with a track record of delivering major urban regeneration projects across the UK.
John Oxley has been involved in commercial investments and developments throughout the UK and Europe and was a senior equity partner in one of the UK’s leading commercial agencies prior to joining Wharfside.
Mark Pendower has a background in direct development, asset management and investment finance. He has directly developed over 50 primary healthcare properties. Mark has established a number of companies developing, trading and investing in commercial and medical property and from start-up these companies have grown to hold aggregate portfolios in excess of £70m. Before becoming a direct investor Mark spent 15 years at Sun Alliance, initially as an insurance underwriter before property investment.
Trevor Bickers joined Wharfside Regeneration Development Ltd, to set up an operation for regenerating local authority ‘capped’ landfill sites around the UK.
